Data Collection Update on Wrongs
Starting Q1, 2024, the ASCQC changed how it collects data on Wrongs. You will notice going forward data collection going forward, wrongs will be split into 8 sub-components:
- Wrong IOL,
- Wrong Implant,
- Wrong Block,
- Wrong Site,
- Wrong Side,
- Wrong Procedure,
- Wrong Patient,
- Wrong (Other).

My organization has centers that have not reported on specific metrics- do I leave a blank?
NO If your organization has any centers that have not reported on specific metrics, please write ‘NR’ in lieu of a blank or 0 so that we can remove that center’s cases from the rate calculations. This improves our reporting accuracy and data quality. For more information, please review the ‘Data Submission Process Overview’ document.
