All participating ASCs will receive a benchmarking report from our platform vendor assessments@ecri.com, not the ASC Quality Collaboration.

What is the ASC Safety & Quality Assessment?
The ASC Safety & Quality Assessment is a Quality platform that demonstrates ASC performance on various quality data points. Each center reports their data into a simple platform, and the entire process takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. Resources are provided to foster improvement.
Why Should I Participate?
Participation demonstrates your center’s commitment to providing safe, high-quality care, directly aligned with the value proposition of the ASC industry. One can utilize the results from the assessment to implement best practice policies, procedures, and processes to enhance the safe, quality care provided at the ASC.
What Information Do I Need To Participate?
- CCN# (CMS Certification Number). This is an alphanumeric 10-digit number issued by CMS
- NPI (National Provider Identifier) number. Unique facility 10-digit identification number issued by CMS
- Year that the ASC opened
- Most recent calendar year (i.e. 2025) annual case volume
- If accredited, date of accreditation expiration
- If applicable, date of last Patient Safety Culture survey
- If applicable, date of last Employee Satisfaction survey
- Complete the ASC Safety & Quality Assessment Attestation at the end in order to complete and submit

Assessment Validation Process
A random sample of participating centers will be selected to complete a validation process. This will involve providing documentation to support the responses to a group of questions included in the Assessment.
