ASCQC is pleased to announce the release of its 2025 Annual Report, which captures a year of meaningful growth, leadership transition and measurable progress in advancing quality and patient safety across ambulatory surgery centers.

The report highlights key milestones that strengthened the ASCQC’s role as the national leader in ASC quality improvement. In 2025, nearly 400 surgery centers participated in the inaugural ASC Safety & Quality Assessment, creating an important national snapshot of ASC performance and reinforcing the value of benchmarking and data-driven improvement.

Throughout the year, the ASCQC expanded its portfolio of practical tools and resources designed to help centers turn data into action. New offerings included the Prevention of Wrong-Site Surgery Toolkit, enhanced benchmarking analytics and updated guidance to support consistent reporting and quality improvement efforts.

Education and collaboration remained central to the ASCQC mission. The annual Quality Conference brought together experts, partners and ASC leaders from across the country for shared learning and discussion. In addition, ASCQC leadership contributed to national conferences, webinars, podcasts and publications, extending the reach of ASC-focused quality insights and practical guidance.

The report also reflects growing engagement across the ASC community. Membership continued to expand, including new state ASC associations. The launch of the ASCQC Supporter Program created additional opportunities for collaboration among industry partners committed to advancing quality and safety. ASCQC visibility also increased through media coverage and a rapidly growing LinkedIn community.

Looking ahead, the 2025 Annual Report outlines priorities for continued momentum. Plans include the next cycle of the ASC Safety & Quality Assessment, further expansion of benchmarking and analytics, new tools and resources and continued engagement through education, outreach and partnerships.

The ASCQC remains focused on its core mission: bringing together ASC leaders, clinicians and partners to define, measure and improve safety and quality for every patient, every time.
